Big Yellow Eye Rockfish

One of my favorite fish to see come up is a big Yellow Eye. They can be found on deep rocks near drop offs. Their built like an absolute tank, and pull hard until the decompression gets them on their way up! Rockfish meat is a unique, firm, whitefish, in my opinion extremely well suited for fish tacos.
